History
Grace Church Fullerton is an English Speaking Ministry of Grace Ministries International (GMI). We inherited our spiritual DNA from Pastor David Kim, our founding pastor. GMI has three distinctive biblical spiritualities: fervent prayer lifestyle, generous giving, and ‘going’ spirituality.
Starting with early morning prayer, our church began to be known for fervent prayer life. Secondly, Pastor Kim truly believed that love was a waste or is extravagant. He himself sold his business and house, fully surrendering his life for the sake of the gospel. As Christ’s life was wasted, he also wanted to waste his life for Him. He showed Christ’s love to others and the nations by giving. Thirdly, GMI has a ‘going’ spirituality. Jesus commanded us above all to go to the nations to make His disciples. When we go, things happen, but when we don’t go, nothing happens.

Grace Ministries International was founded by Pastor Gwangshin Kim starting with a small group of 4 families. On October 24, GMI held its founding service with about 100 believers.

As communism crumbled down in the Soviet Union during early 1990, the great door of evangelism opened up and Pastor Kim and our church were able to go and preach the gospel to the Russian speaking people in CIS. Hundreds of thousands of people received Jesus as their Savior and churches began to multiply. The infamous Moscow Grace Festival led around 13,000 new believers to Christ. Since then, about two thousand churches have been planted all over CIS.

Missions Conference
Every 4 years, GMI hosts a Missions Conference inviting all of our missionaries and pastors back to our main campus for a week long event of equipping, inspiring, and sharing testimonies. Grace Church Fullerton was given the opportunity to host and serve from September 19-21.
